Start with three names: Xiangzhou is the urban core beside Macao; Jinwan brings together the airport, industry and newer neighbourhoods; Doumen opens into a more rural, water-shaped landscape. These are the city's administrative districts.
Hengqin is a cooperation zone with Macao, Tangjiawan concentrates the high-tech and university cluster, and Wanshan leads to the islands. These names appear often in addresses, but they are not a second set of districts.
When building an itinerary, group visits on the same shore or in the same zone. A place can look close on a map and still require a bridge, border crossing or ferry.
